Vuk is a personal assistant app built by edWeb Lab. It runs only on its owner’s own computer and has exactly one user: the owner, who connected their own Google account. It is not a public service and nobody else can sign up.
Only what the owner allows on the Google consent screen: Gmail (read messages, create drafts, send a message only after the owner confirms it, move a message to Trash on request), Google Calendar (read events, create or delete an event after confirmation), Google Drive (read files; write only files Vuk created itself, such as copies of the owner’s videos) and YouTube (upload the owner’s own videos as private, read the owner’s channel statistics).
Only to answer the owner’s own requests, for example “what do I have tomorrow” or “upload this clip to YouTube”. The data is processed on the owner’s computer, including by a local AI model on that same computer. It is not sent to edWeb Lab or to any other server, it is not sold, not shared, not used for advertising and not used to train AI models.
Vuk’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Vuk uses YouTube API Services. Uploads and statistics are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Access tokens and any data Vuk reads are stored only on the owner’s computer. Disconnecting Google in Vuk deletes the tokens there.
Access can be revoked at any time in the Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. After that, Vuk can no longer read or change anything.
